DLC characters join game's lineup on August 27
Bandai Namco Entertainment America began streaming a DLC character trailer on Thursday for its Jump Force crossover fighting game. The video previews My Hero Academia's Katsuki Bakugo and Dragon Ball Z's Majin Buu (Good), who will both launch in the game on August 27. Character Pass owners will have early access to the new characters on Friday.
Previous DLC characters include Yu-Gi-Oh!'s Seto Kaiba, My Hero Academia's All Might, Hunter x Hunter's Biscuit Krueger, and Kane and Galena (original characters designed by Akira Toriyama). The game will also get Naruto's Madara Uchiha, One Piece's Trafalgar D. Water Law, and Bleach's Hitsugaya Toshiro and Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez as DLC characters.
The last four characters will join the roster at an as-yet unannounced date. The sets of paid DLC include avatar costumes and skills along with the DLC characters. The game's Character Pass allows players to access all nine DLC characters.
Spike Chunsoft developed the game, which launched on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on February 15 in the Americas and Europe and on February 14 in Japan.
